Why a New Website Was Necessary The original quoting tool operated inside an iframe, preventing accurate tracking and limiting UX improvements. To regain full control of the funnel, we rebuilt the frontend entirely. More about this decision you can read in the Product & Strategy Consulting.
Webflow was selected for its speed, cost efficiency, and flexibility. The existing backend remained but required significant updates to support the new architecture.

Building a Conversion-Focused Funnel The goal was straightforward: guide users from route selection → instant calculation → reservation.
Key steps:

  • Built a new frontend in Webflow, replacing the original Solidpixels implementation

  • Optimised for mobile-first UX, consistent design, and clear CTAs

  • Ensured essential information appeared above the fold and removed unnecessary content

Integrating With Backend Logic The Webflow frontend connected to the legacy backend via API.
Backend improvements included:

  • Enhanced quoting logic for better price accuracy

  • Increased automatically processed calculations from 40% → 98%, sharply reducing support workload

  • Redesigned automated emails for consistency and clarity, leading to higher follow-up conversions

Full Tracking & Compliance To support informed decision-making, we implemented:

  • GTM and Google Analytics tracking across the entire funnel

  • CookieBot for GDPR compliance

  • Detailed event mapping: homepage → quote started → fields completed → quote generated → order

  • A/B testing for key friction points

Impact After launch:

  • Homepage → completed quote conversion lifted from 20% → 27% (despite seasonal downturn)

  • Automatic quoting increased from 40% → 98%

  • Reminder flows generated additional bookings

  • Inbound requests improved in quality thanks to a clearer, simplified funnel
